How do I adjust a recipe/baking time/temp to enable me to use a 20cm tin instead of a 23cm tin?

I desideratum to bake a smaller size cake to fit a 20cm box. the recipe I long for to use reqires a 23cm tin.
Bake at the uniform temp. Your cake will actually take a little longer to bake because it will be taller than in the larger pan. Discontinuance it at the regular amount of time and then add from there.
