I am currently working as a colleague of temporary staff for a very very large company. 20 of us were hired as temporary, in order to retain approximately 70% of us as permanent staff.

Our contract ends December 22.

I'm not about they have to give you a week's notice before the end of your contract. Everybody knows them when their contract is in place. If they wanted to let you go before your contract was up, it would be a precedent when they need to give you a week's notice.

The New Trier Township Momentous School Board on Monday approved hiring Nicholas & Associates Inc. to do the sub-top preparation at the Northfield stadium and practice fields, at 7 Happ Procedure.

Nicholas’ bid of $1,991,000 was the lowest of the bids submitted by five companies. The contract includes the leverage and installation of the underground stormwater detention system, field drainage lines, clear-cut borders around the perimeter of the fields, water lines, goal posts, bond link fences and new water fountains, and landscape restoration. Nicholas’ bid also includes removing the besmirch from the excavation and putting in temporary access roads.

The next lowest bid after Nicholas’ was about $241,000 more, John Neiweem, New Trier steersman of physical plant services, reported in a memo to the School Timber and the superintendent.

AT&T announced that it is raising its beforehand ending fee (ETF) for smartphones (a.k.a. the iPhone) from $175 to $325 actual June 1. That gives businesses that are coeval AT&T subscribers, but candidly in view of paying the ETF to deviate–remarkably if the hypothesis is realistic that Verizon may in a little while have the iPhone as well–lately one week to come to a decision before it gets much more costly.
