Before I mull over it, I'm curious about what selection of jobs are in a temp agency. I know of Manpower, but the most I have seen are of labor sort jobs. What other genres, I guess would be a good word, do they have to choose from with temp agencies?

Heck yeah there are affecting temp jobs out there. Go to an agency, like ABE or Nelson, and they will set you up.

You go in with your resume for an initial talk with them.

Governor Steve Beshear announced Thursday Kentucky will pull down a $859,793 National Emergency Grant from the U.S. Department of Labor. The funds will invent about 65 temporary jobs for eligible dislocated workers to assist with cleanup and retrieval efforts as a result of the severe storms, tornadoes, straight-information winds and flooding that struck Kentucky in March 2012.

“This money will domestics Kentucky communities rebuild after suffering extensive damage this spring,” said Gov. Beshear. “The stopgap jobs it will create will not only benefit current jobseekers but will provide much-needed reinforcement in those hard-hit areas.”

The NEG, awarded to the Kentucky Education and Workforce Occurrence Cabinet, will fund a variety of services, including providing fleeting employment on projects to assist with cleanup, demolition, repair, renovation and reconstruction of destroyed portion publicly structures, facilities and lands within the affected communities, as well as the delivery of humanitarian aid and cover assistance, as needed.
