I already have a fix, but I need to make some extra to catch up my bills. Annoy is: my job is evenings and one whole day, either Friday or Saturday. Guess what hours most part jobs are around here? Evenings and weekends. Imagine what hours newbies are assigned?

Well unless you can find a ornate restaurant that needs servers during the day, there isnt much you can do. Maybe you could also try looking for a secretary job? Those are harder and harder to yield by though since the economy is in the pits.

I recently returned to the organization after being out on maternity leave for six months. I can tell you, it was not a six-month holiday; rather, it was the most challenging time of my way of life. It was impossible to anticipate the difficulty of switching gears from being a full-time attorney to being a first-time pater.

I am fortunate I was able to take so much time off of work, but many women are only able to take off the 12 weeks that are protected under the Kinsfolk and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and financial realities leave a tidy number of women able to take off only a couple of weeks.

In my position as an attorney representing teachers and other persuasion district employees, I answer many questions about parental leave. Many watchful parents do not understand that the FMLA allows a new parent to take 12 weeks of unsalaried leave following the birth of a child or the placement of a child after adoption. Because the FMLA is not called "parenthood leave" or "paternity leave," many employees do not conceive of they can avail themselves of that law to take a break from their jobs while they begin the hard work of becoming new parents.
