I am wondering if the staffing agents by inadvertently b perhaps speak to other agents at different companies regarding the people they have hired to line for them on jobs in the past? Maybe if they had dealt with a difficult wage-earner, or someone who quit the job, etc.

Well I'm not an spokeswoman, but I was hired through a staffing agency. And I dont think they talk to others at several companies. At my agency they just said if you didnt like it let them have knowledge of and they get you another job.
