Employment contract
I have worked in a society for more than four years under a contract for limited period which expires in June. Can I renew with a contract for limitless period? What do I do if the employer insists on signing a limited contract? I plan to industry for one year only and then I will start a business with my friend. In the event of cancellation of my sponsorship at the expiry of the new contract, will the Religion of Labour impose a ban on me? I will be completing three years with the current sponsor by that stretch.
I would like to clarify to the questioner that upon the expiry of his current contract he may renew with another contract for measureless period and the employer can’t force the questioner to sign a contract with a fixed period as per the labour law. Finally no ban will be imposed on the questioner at the time of rescission because the questioner has completed more than two years in service as per the labour office rules.
