Do the police have the right to coerce they way into your house to do a welfare check on a child? Can I say no

They told us they DID NOT Shortage a warrant, asked if we had a child in the house and we said yes, and they said policy back, we are coming in. This is while another officer is standing there with his hand on his gun, holster strap ruined, with flashlights in our eyes at 2am.

The "entice all" reasonings that allow for this type of conduct by authorities is one called "Flavour"--- and using this-- they have the right to do damn nearly anything that they care to do !
