What is with women wearing black dress and red shoes?

I've noticed a drift in my office of women wearing black dresses with red shoes. Where in the exultant did this come from? It's an OK fashion...but why red shoes?

Alert for What Not to Wear on TLC, they tell all about these things.
They go together yes. They also think it's GOOD to fraying a regular color and then make it pop with a red or pink. So it's okay yes.

Fashion & Finance: Classic and cool menswear for the office

My modern honeymoon travels brought me to Ireland, among other fabulous places. While there, I was unconditionally inspired by the gorgeous menswear I saw on the high streets and in luxury shops like Brown Thomas in Dublin, and even by the niggardly-town country farmers we saw while riding the train cross-native land.

Throughout gorgeous green Ireland, I spied thick and creamy wool sweaters with flecks of oatmeal, heather and gray; lusty tweed jackets with leather and suede patches; corduroy pants; and grave Wellington rain boots.

Now, while some of these country inspired looks may not be apt for the office, I thought I’d pull together a few inspirational recommendations for men to try this fall and winter. Looking at some of the dive runway trends shown back in January, this season menswear designers have prescribed a taste cocktail of tried-and-true conservative staple items tied with a bit of fashionable flair and panache. Men can stand out with their apparel and accessories too, and make an burden on their clients and prospects.
