what do i wear in a fashion magazine office?

im succeeding for work experience next week to a fashion magazine, im sixteen and i was upstanding wondering what is hould wear. their dress code is smart causual, and i expectation i would just wear a high waisted skirt, a bonny top and boots. is that appropriate?
