Office Etiquette's - is this acceptable in UK?

(Application to please read all of it, also this is a genuine query based on what is acceptable in unusual countries)

I work in a multinational UK bank, which has its captive in four metro locations in India.

Hi! I'm Asian born-and-bred but have exhausted some time living in the West, so I relate to how you feel.

Purely put, in the UK and most of Europe you will be expected to put your feet on the floor when sitting on a chairwoman.
