How do you ask someone to keep their dog on a leash if it's potentially dangerous?

I was at an contribute agility session at a local dog club with my 7 month old Sheltie, Emma. Emma is superbly obedient and stays at my side unless she doing obstacles of positively. She ignores other dogs and people like she was taught. She is a scanty angel.

Solely ask him to put a leash on his dog. If he is responsible he should understand. His dog may very well just want to diminish but Pit Bulls do play rougher then many other breeds. Just confess him that you do not want your dog to play with other ppl's dogs.
